• Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Pornographic content

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to upload and share the content you publish.

Community Expectations

The primary purpose of Velvet ISO is to enjoy photography.

Be respectful. Be curious. Be constructive.

Upload photographs that are interesting, beautiful, unusual, creative, personal, thought-provoking, or simply meaningful to you.

Don't use photography as a vehicle to provoke, inflame, recruit, harass, demean, attack, or antagonize other people.

In short: don't be a dick.

The internet already has plenty of places dedicated to outrage, tribalism, and endless arguments. Velvet ISO is not trying to be one of them.

We're here because we enjoy photography.

If that sounds appealing, welcome.

If your primary goal is to fight culture wars, pick fights, score points, or spend your time trying to make strangers angry, there are already countless platforms built for exactly that purpose.

Velvet ISO is probably not one of them.

Velvet ISO may remove content, suspend accounts, revoke invitations, or terminate access to the service at its sole discretion when necessary to protect the community, users, or the platform itself.

This policy may evolve as the service grows.
